Priority is given to classes receiving instruction and working on assignments. Students on spares are welcome.

What happens in the Library Learning Commons?

Please respect the people and staff around you. Many of us do need a degree of quiet to concentrate on our tasks.

 

No food/drinks.

 

No gaming.

 

Netflix? Really? 

 

Lunch time is an opportunity to complete work and read.  

 

Return books on time. Others may wish to borrow them.

 

If you lose any book or resource you are responsible for replacing it.

What are the rules?

8:15-11:25, short break, 11:40-3:30.

Most days we conform to these times. Occasionally the library is closed for events such as the Eco-Fair, the Co-op Fair, math contests and meetings. We make every effort to post these changes.

Do you have computers to loan out?

Yes! We now have Chromebooks which students may borrow for the day. Please have your student card ready. Chromebooks MUST  be returned at 3:00 p.m.

How can I take out a book?

Please have your student card ready at the circulation desk.

 

You can take out 5 books as long as you're not clearing out a section.

 

The book is due in 3 weeks.

 

You cannot borrow a book if you have a late book.

 

Do NOT take out a book for a friend. It's nice to be nice but if your friend loses the book, YOU are responsible for it because it's signed out to you. Be responsible to yourself.

 

If you lose a book you are responsible for replacing it or paying for it.

 

There is a bookdrop at the circulation desk when you're ready to return it.
